1. Scope
These terms govern your use of the free online image tools offered at jnrt.online (hereafter "JNRT Pixel" or "the website"). The provider is Jonathan Hedderich, Schulenburger Landstraße 45, 30165 Hannover, Germany (see Imprint).
By using the website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the website.
2. Scope of service
JNRT Pixel provides browser-based image tools, in particular compression, conversion, resizing, cropping, rotation, watermarking and format comparison. All processing happens exclusively client-side in your browser; image data is never transmitted to the provider's servers.
The service is offered free of charge and without a signup requirement. There is no claim to availability, a specific feature set or a specific result.
3. Permitted use
You may use the website free of charge for private and commercial purposes. The images you process with JNRT Pixel belong to you; no usage rights are transferred to the provider. Attribution is not required.
4. Prohibited actions
The following are prohibited in particular:
- processing content that violates applicable law (e.g. copyright or personality-right violations, child sexual abuse material, content glorifying violence, hate speech, or terrorist content);
- automated bulk requests, scraping, stress testing, or attempts to overload or compromise the website or its infrastructure;
- circumventing, manipulating or removing security mechanisms, ad-delivery protections or consent functions beyond standard browser means (e.g. via reverse-engineering of delivery endpoints);
- any use that is likely to disrupt the operation of the website or harm third parties.
In case of violations the provider reserves the right to take technical measures, block IP addresses and pursue legal action.
5. User content and responsibility
Since image processing happens exclusively locally in your browser, no content is ever transmitted to or stored by JNRT Pixel. You are solely responsible for holding the necessary rights to the images you process and for ensuring their use is lawful.
6. Availability, changes, discontinuation
The provider strives to make the website continuously and error-free available but does not guarantee this. Maintenance windows, outages, technical issues or adjustments to the feature set may happen at any time without notice. The provider reserves the right to permanently discontinue individual features or the entire service at any time.
7. Liability
The provider is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence as well as under the German Product Liability Act. For slight negligence the provider is only liable for harm to life, body or health, or for breach of a material contractual duty (cardinal duty). In those cases liability is limited to foreseeable, contract-typical damage. Further liability — particularly for indirect damages, data loss, lost profits or damages from faulty compression results — is excluded.
Because JNRT Pixel never sees your images, the provider cannot accept responsibility for their content, loss or damage. Always create a backup of the original before processing important images.
8. Advertising
JNRT Pixel is funded by ads via Google AdSense. Ad delivery is GDPR-compliant and based on your consent status (see Privacy Policy). Without advertising consent, only non-personalized ads without tracking are shown. The content and selection of ads is determined by Google; the provider does not adopt them as its own.
9. Intellectual property
The website, the brand name "JNRT Pixel", the logo and all originally created texts, graphics, articles and tool implementations are protected by copyright. Reuse requires the provider's explicit consent unless permitted by law (e.g. right of quotation, right to a private copy).
10. Consumer dispute resolution
The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. The provider is neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
11. Final provisions
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the country in which you have your habitual residence remain unaffected. Should any provision of these terms be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions is unaffected.
The provider reserves the right to amend these terms at any time with effect for the future. The current version is always available on this page.
